Betty Varghese, DO, is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with Highland Medical, OBS-GYN of Rockland in New City and Stony Point, NY. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, NY. She completed her residency at New York City Health + Hospitals – South Brooklyn Health, where she served as ambulatory chief resident. Dr. Varghese has always been passionate about caring for others. Before attending medical school and obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she was a certified EMT for the Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps and then the Brandeis Emergency Medical Corps at Brandeis University, where she graduated as a Presidential Scholar and received a Gold Level Commitment to Service Award. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys gardening, knitting/crocheting and spending time with her family and her cat Tabasco.
